![]() I really do enjoy this game tho, its very immersive and pack with secrets. Nothing in this game is difficulty once you figure out the enemies attack pattern, and there are only few enemies type. I am currently on NG+ 4 including multiple endings and true ending. You can see the softcap value from Steam guide section. Just put points into stats enough for equipment requirement, then dump everything into load. Especially when you level up, it takes much longer to earn stats points then weapon upgrading axiom. ![]() Unlike traditional soul games where you stack STR or DEX to minmax to see the boost, the most of your damage come from weapon upgrade in this game. Stacking stats feels almost meaningless as the benefit is almost not noticeable. I have to say spreading out points makes most sense. It's been a few days since I started this thread, and I have gone very far from where I was. You could say that you need to play the game once in a slightly painful way to truly know what to focus on in a 2nd playthrough unless you play with a gameplay guide that gives all the information ahead. If you knew about this and purely focused, for example, on Stam, HP, Load and STR, then you should be fine for that armor set, otherwise you're stuck with, at most, rags that drops from the enemies (unless you're able to beat the crap of the early sentry knights things who can kill you in 1-3 hits). If you were focusing on the required stats for the earlier weapons, you're mostly out of luck for the armor's high weight. Early on, it's more of a discovery thing where diversifying can result in a slightly more difficult path if you don't know what kind of weapon and armor requirement is coming up.įor example, the first hidden set of armor you find is super heavy while 90% of the stuff you find earlier barely requires you to put any stats in LOAD. ![]() If you focus on cognition for guns, a few points in LOAD and Stamina could help giving you the mobility to run and evade better and safer.įrom what I have read on the forum, at one point, as long as you can equip what you want, there's not much of an impact in diversifying your build. I thought stack DEX is best way to boost DEX weapons damage.Įarly on, it seems like you have to make a choice about what to focus on until you reach the point where you feel you're "good" and can invest in other potential direction.įor example, if you focus on an early melee built, at some point, you could invest a few Cognition point for the sake of poking enemies with a weak gun to aggro them in fewer numbers toward you when possible. I have 0 point in Cognition.Īm I suppose to evenly distribute all stats? So far I just put few points in HP/Stam then focus all on DEX.
